EXTREME Mexico City Food Tour - KING of Mexico City’s BEST Tacos
Welcome to Mexico City, Mexico (CDMX)! In this Mexico City travel vlog I take you with me on my Mexico City street food taco tour in search of the best tacos in CDMX. Throughout my day in Mexico City food tour, I tried 10 different and unique Mexican street food tacos. I hope you enjoy my CDMX travel vlog and discover something new about the best Mexican street food spots to try on your trip to Mexico City, Mexico.
I started off my Mexico City street food taco tour near the main square in CDMX called Zócalo (Plaza de la Constitución) to get some tacos de canasta at a place called Tacos de Canasta Los Especiales. Despite being in a popular and touristy area of Mexico City, eating Tacos de Canasta, otherwise known as basket tacos, near Mexico City’s main square was the perfect way to start off my crazy Mexico City Food Tour.
The next stop on my CDMX street food taco tour was to get some Barbacoa tacos at a place called El Toluco. El Toluco is the perfect local spot to get some authentic Mexican Street Food! Right next to El Toluco was my third stop on my Mexico City Street Food Taco Tour to a place called Tacos El Paisa to get some Suadero Tacos. Tacos El Paisa is another local taco spot in Mexico City and has some of my absolute favorite tacos in all of Mexico City. It didn’t hurt that the staff was a lot of fun to hangout with too. Tacos El Paisa is a must visit on any trip to Mexico City and a taco stand you will regret not going to on your trip to CDMX.
After some delicious Suadero tacos, I visited El Pescadito to get some classic Mexican fish tacos. Even though Mexico City is in the center of Mexico, no CDMX taco tour is complete without some fresh fish tacos. Next on my Mexico City Food Tour I got some more local Mexican street food at Tacos Hola El Güero to try some Tacos Guisados. To me, tacos guisados are those Mexican Tacos that taste like they are made with love in a cozy kitchen. After enjoying some classic Tacos Guisados the next stop on my Mexico City Street Food Taco Tour was to one of the best food markets in CDMX called Mercado Medellin (Medellin Market). Within Mercado Medellin are tons of places to buy fruit, vegetables, meat, and tacos. My first stop inside Mercado Medellin, and the next stop on my CDMX travel vlog, was to Meche y Rafael to try some Carnitas Tacos. LET ME TELL YOU, these Carnitas Tacos are a MUST on any food tour in Mexico City, they were SO good! Right after a delicious Carnitas Taco, I walked through the market to Moloch Cochinita Pibil for some Cochinita Pibil tacos, which originate from Yucatan Mexico.
After leaving Medellin Market, I decided to switch things up for the next stop on my Mexico City Street Food Taco Tour by going to a vegan taco spot called Por Siempre Vegana, which translates to Always Vegan. After enjoying a delicious vegan taco, the next stop on my CDMX taco tour was one that I had been looking forward to all day. The next stop in my Mexico City travel vlog was to Taqueria Los Parados for some Tacos Al Pastor! Tacos Al Pastor are one of the most popular (and delicious) types of taco in Mexico, and are often my favorite type of Mexican Street Taco! The last stop on my Mexico City Street Food Taco Tour was to Hayito Tacos Arabes, for some Tacos Arabes. Tacos Arabes are another unique Mexican street taco that was influenced by immigrants from Arabic speaking countries.
After 10 delicious and unique tacos around Mexico City, I can confidently say that a street food taco tour is an incredible way to explore CDMX and get to know the culture. I hope you enjoyed my Mexico City Travel Vlog and get the chance to enjoy all of Mexico City’s incredible tacos.

La belle de Cadix. Luis Mariano. On connait biensur Cadiz!
El paredón, departamento de Escuintla, Guatemala
Hi Matt, could you please write down the name of the restaurant in the old city where you had lunch ? Beautiful video BTW, thank you
We're going to be in Marbella on 24th of August this year for 10 days - any weed smokers out there - let's fill the air with green 🍃🍃🍃
Hi guy , do you film with iphone or another camera? thank you.
💕💕
Very beautiful!
Always wanted to visit khiva. Btw, you look so Persian, just thinkng out loud.
Nice Video
Im Cadiz there’s a bridge that collapsed there be safe😊
thanks for the video, we are going next week, can't wait!
This is literally everything I have planned for our trip in a couple months. I’ve been researching like crazy. I should have just watched your vid.
CHRITIANITY and ISLAM----continue to remain competing spiritualities in the world. Competing Hostilities. HOSTILE confrontational attitudes persist----no end in sight. Both these religions believe in JESUS CHRIST ----but then why such a hostile confrontation ????? WHY JESUS CHRIST does not end these hostilities ????????? JESUS SAID--" LOVE THY ENEMIES" !!!! Where is that LOVE ????????????????????????????. JESUS is asking for something-----=which is impossible to practice ???????
MESQUITA/ CATHEDRAL------will be bitter/sweet experience for a person with ISLAMIC back-ground. Sweet ,because this is suggestive of great MUSLIM PAST----but the same is BIITTER experience that how MUSLIMS lost it all. Why did they lose this all ????????????????
Brother you think is expensive, is 25 pesos is 1;50 US dollar aprox in USA you have to pay from 2;50 or 3 US dollars…
Visiting in June and this video is so thorough, realistic, beautiful and warm its made me excited.
❤Thanks for sharing! 🎉
Wow! That was perfect!!! Thanks!😊
Does it help to take a guided tour or one can easily do it on one's own walking around? Your vlog is super informative.
You did a ride along? Or a 2 people… I see they have two options in the website?
I just visited three days ago. We were a few min late for the sunrise, but it was still so amazing!! And not too cold for a Utahn! About 40° in mid-March.
Hi Matt, just discovered your channel. Are you still travelling and making videos, as saw your last one was Mexico 5 months ago? Cheers from the UK
That Beach is impeccable ,greetings from New York.
what was the name of the celebration and when is it held?? thank you.
I was told it was a celebration of the Name of San Juan Del Sur and I believe it takes place in the summertime each year
If I understand well, you paid 8 usd for a small piece of bread?
Nicaragua is the most underrated country in the Americas! But I know It’s literally paradise on earth! 🌎 Nicaraguan pride❤️🇳🇮
Nicaragua is absolutely beautiful! I agree!
Wow 😍beautiful, cool.
It's a special place!
Three peaks is extremely dangerous hikers fall and die there all the time
wow....this video is 2 years old...roughly 2022. At 3:33 I saw a combo plate of food for $70.....must have been a really good combo.
The food in Mexico is super delicious!
How do u keep your stuff safe while dwimming
I always try to keep a safe distance from underwater life and try my best to stay calm
I meant your money and passport on a deserted beach. I'm here now, arrived last night!
Where do you stay at Malaga ?
I ended up staying in an Airbnb but I think there are lots of accommodation options in the city
I was there in 2020. I got lost in the medina there. Ha ha
It's so easy to get lost in the Medinas in Morocco!
We are really enjoying your Spain videos. Thank you so much for sharing them! Love your enthusiasm and energy!
Thanks so much, I'm glad you are enjoying them!
It is only in my dream to share the room with 3 beautiful young Uzbek ladies for 16 hours, what a lucky guy! 😆
😂
My favourite place in Spain!
It's so beautiful!
I would absolutely L❤VE, L❤VE, L❤VE to swim and dive with beautiful Sharks. What an experience. I’m a little envious 😊
I hope you get to do this one day!
I am a nicaraguan and that kind of experience is a shame but it happens everywhere around the world. Not all Nicaraguan people are like that. We are very helpful and kind. So sad you found one of us who was not the nice one. My recommendation is always to book a taxi or a transport before you travel. I recommend you to travel witg A Tu Destino.
I completely agree that Nicaraguan people are so kind and friendly!
I went to Cadiz. I completely understand how you feel about it! Another great video. Thank you!
I'm glad you enjoyed Cadiz so much too!
@@MattKramerTravels will definitely be going again and looking at some of your suggestions
Thanks for the entertaining well worth seeing video! Would you say three days is too much time to see Ronda? You did it in a day!. Many thanks. I’m subscribing now!
If you want to take it slow and relax, you can spend 3 days in Ronda but i wouldn't say there are 3 days worth of activities. There are some day trips that I've heard are nice from Ronda though
@@MattKramerTravels thank you very much for your reply
It is full of tourists even in february, I am not sure if the city can handle more
Awesome video !!!!!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed!
I love Mexico City. I just found your video. Great job!! Perhaps more about the city than showing yourself. Thank you, Hamid from Laguna Beach CA
Thanks Hamid!
You said those carnitas tacos were not the healthiest. Well, so were the suadero tacos. All the beef swimming in oil as well as the tortillas. Tacos de canasta too. All in moderation. Both look fire.
Yeah, ha. Been to Mexico City myself. Great place. Amazing food. The guy hit the right spots and taco variations. Since we are talking about healthy or not. I’d say the greasier tacos are canasta, carnitas, and suadero. All great, but oily for sure. The much less greasy ones are the roasted meats like al pastor, árabes, and cochinita pibil. The ones in between are birria and fish tacos. Good video. Man, I’m hungry, lol.
I agree with you! But they were all SO good!
Uzbekistan is a hidden gem! It’s definitely one of the best countries we’ve been to.
It is! I'm so glad you've had the chance to visit too!
do you know of any bike rentals specifically roadbikes in El Salvador? tnanks
I am not sure. I purchased my bike near the main square in San Salvador
That was enjoyable. Thank you. I'm retired now and always looking for a relaxing place to dive and enjoy a mellow atmosphere.
I hope you get the chance to visit!
Palma de Mallorca is better.
No one goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.
